Hello my name is Colt Montana and I am 37 years old. I live in Southeast Ohio in a place called Meigs County. In November 1996 my family home burn down while I was in school. It was first time I saw my father figure cry. We did finally rise from the ashes and stood once again on our feet with the help of community support. During 2015 my back broke ending in spinal fusion surgery and that ended in failure. In 2020 I had yet another fusion surgery since then I have been healing, but still do suffer from time to time and have permanent nerve damage in my left leg. Then there's the usual hits from life that many of us face. Moving on.......
I got my first guitar when I was five years old, my entire family is musically inclined and helped fuel my love for music. I also had a father figure apart from my actual father. His name was Dorsel Bibbee and he was a amazing music lover, he took me many places including... Morgantown Wv. .Charleston Wv..The Vandalia gathering. There is a book titled Goldenseal that I enjoy about several Appalachia musicians. I love Classic Country, Southern Rock, Oldies, Folk, Bluegrass, and Appalachian music. I bring a wide variety of my own original songs and covers but with a "lil Colt twist."
I also advocate for Cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, and Mental Health Awareness.
